The podium of the building underlines the natural motta, of the house’s location, at the bottom of the area. A pedestrian path follows a slope and dips into a trench, while the driveway is placed to the rear. A lawn with fruit trees is enclosed by hedges, while an oak is used as a filter. In the living room, the view to the south looks to the green, to the east to the fireplace, north to the Lichthof, and west to the entry. The couch is lowered, similar to a sailboat. The Lichthof derives both from Tyrolean tradition and the Roman Impluvium. It was built with advanced sustainability systems, such as plywood and cork walls, geothermal, photovoltaic, artesian well, rainwater recovery and phytopurification.
